About Master Tuner Eddie

______________________________________________________________________________________________

dsc065453Eddie, a gemologist by trade, took his 34 years of scientific knowledge towards ski tuning. First laboratory trained in New-york City to certify stones, he then worked for 3 years at the American Gemological Laboratory which gave him the finite ability to understand the optical physic of many medium. He incorporated this knowledge along with the training of his ski tuning mentor, Terry Young, the original owner of the Ski Service Center, creating the Super Go Fast structuring for Alpine racing and any Freeride or Snowboard applications. Today most of his costumers are part of the Boarder Cross Circuit, World Cup Circuit, World Cup Speed Skiing Circuit, the US Adaptive Team, and Challenge Aspen.
Eddie, to this day, still considers Terry Young, the original owner of the Ski Service Center, to be the “Einstein” of ski tuning. Terry, in 1981, became the owner of the first stone grinder in Aspen, and developed some of the original custom ski tunes ever created.
Now, with the different scientific applications entering the tuning field, ski and snowboard tuning has evolved into a continuous quest for some of the fastest tunes ever created.
